Arlo Q – Wired, 1080p HD Security Camera: It is plugged into a 120v outlet This camera has been the best solution for monitoring my elderly mom. Two other siblings want to monitor her. Setup was easy, but I did look at the instructions and YouTube videos prior to setup. Adding access for 2 other people was easy and hard. One went perfectly, the other required deleting the share and re-doing the share. Setting the activity zone was easy and works very well. Motion detection is perfect. I use FREE cloud storage . It detects motion and then stores two minutes of video to the cloud (a setting). Access using the ARLO iphone app is flawless. Three people can review the last 7 days, or live view. The microphone is very sensitive. A light is always on in the room so I haven't used night vision. I believe the choice of the ARLO Q was the best choice.

I recently purchased the Arlo 4 Pro. While that is an amazing camera, I needed something simpler but still effective for the inside of my house. The Arlo Q fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to plug in to an AC outlet, connect to my wi-fi via the router (after a firmware upgrade) and it showed clear, crisp images of the inside of the house. It also recorded the images to the cloud just as the Pro4 does. I appreciate the light weight of the Q and the simple way I could place it anywhere I wanted. I will be purchasing another unit soon to cover more of the house. Thank you, Arlo, for making such good products. Knowing that images are stored in the cloud gives me great piece of mind when I need to leave home.

I got these over other cameras for the free 7 day cloud recording and because I already have Arlo pro 2 system. There are only a few cameras left that Arlo provides this service for, and the Q is one of them. This was the perfect addition to my system. I believe you can only have up to 5 cameras for the cloud recording.

The Arlo Q is an amazingly user friendly, inexpensive and well designed security camera. It has all the right features to adapt it to fit your needs and environment. I manage a 24-unit apartment building. Carriers, at times, have said that they delivered a package, and when we have gone to get it from the lobby, it is not there. I mostly suspect certain carriers have said the package was delivered, when, in fact, it was not. Now our Arlo Q allows us to see what was left in the lobby by the carrier instantly. Arlo Q was simple to set up, the clarity is excellent and the free basic cloud storage plan works well for our purposes. I appreciate that I can also monitor the lobby & entranceway in real time from anywhere I have cell reception. Arlo Q provides a higher level of security, which definitely reduces the stress of managing my building.

Just bought this product "Arlo Q" camera. This is my first experience with a indoor camera. A very small camera, easy to find a place to install. Extra long cord to reach electric outlet. Very very easy to install app and load camera into my phone. Step by step instructions. Even some updates with the camera was simple to do. App is very user friendly. Camera has a lot of customizable settings. I did need to go to YouTube for some extra "How To" help, but was easily found and easy to follow. Picture quality is great, sound is really good. Motion and sound sensing settings are adjustable for sensitivity. The motion area is a GREAT feature to have as we have two big dogs. This is a great beginners camera. Arlo has other products that I am sure I will be purchasing as I need them.
